Collierville Train Station

We went to go see Dad on Sunday, and after dinner we went to see the trains. We stayed a lot longer than usual. We let David play on the train tracks, showed him some railroad spikes (which he tried to hammer back into place with a rock), and wandered around for a while. He was so tired that he was in the back of the van saying "Go to sleep in the fire truck bed now!"

Stuart and Ed

We got a chance to see Ed while we were in Memphis. Here's a shot of Stu and Ed being....well...themselves. LOL!

Beth and Big D

Late Saturday evening we met my friend Dewayne for drinks at T.J Mulligan's in Cordova. There was this awful band called "The Wolf River Rednecks" playing. It was a cover band who played Skynard and other extremely redneck music. It took me a while, but I talked Big D into dancing with me for the sake of acting a fool.

Stuart BUYS and actually SPORTS the Memphis hoodie.

I think the picture is worth MORE than the words on this one, for sure!

Me and Brandon (and my new do)

Brandon met me and Stuart on the balcony at Alfred's to hang out for a while. We had a great time gossiping and catching up. I finally got to hang out with his girlfriend, Kelly. She was a really sweet girl! I can't wait til we get to see them again! I miss my B-randon.

Also, after a few drinks with Parker on Friday night I decided that I looked like a horse in all the pictures we had taken...so I woke up the next morning and cut myself some bangs. I love them! They hide my huge forehead and make me look a little younger too! Score!

Beale Street

Stuart and I went to Beale Street this weekend as an anniversary present for ourselves. We got a couple of frozen drinks from Wet Willie's, sat in the Budweiser Pavilion and listened to the live band, then went to Alfreds for appetizers and drinks. We had the best view of Beale from the balcony at Alfreds. We had an amazing time!

Snacks with Seamus

Seamus and Miss Val came over for a playdate last Thursday. David and Seamus had great fun together. They worked up an apetite playing with cars and then sat down for a snack; pretzels and milk. While they were at the table they had a little "Peek-a-boo" session.
