A few weeks ago, Stu bought a watermelon to chop up and take to work for snacking. While he was slicing and dicing we tried to get David to eat it. He wouldn't get near it at first, but we told him that it was candy and he decided that he would have a bite (hey, whatever, we're liars...he ate it and it's good for him...whatever). He really liked it. It was fun watching him eat the melon and remembering when I was little, sitting outside with a paper plate full of yummy goodness, juice dripping down my face, and seeing who could spit the seeds the farthest.
